Eric Berkers is senior researcher at the Foundation for the History of Technology. After finishing his PhD about the Dutch Works Administration (Rijkswaterstaat), he participated in several research projects. He published about innovations, knowledge transfer, and knowledge infrastructure and wrote books on the history of software and the history of geodesy. He also contributed to the Cycling Cities research project. For the Cycling Cities: the Global Experience, he is currently writing a book on the history of cycling in the cities of Arnhem and Nijmegen to be presented at Velocity Conference in June 2017.
