Colette Finn is a former Deputy Lord Mayor of Cork City. She is a member of the Green Party. She was a Green Party councillor for the period 2019-2024. She has a scientific background, having qualified as a medical scientist. In her early career she worked in the hospital laboratory service in Ireland, Lesotho & Iraq. She subsequently completed a doctorate in business administration. She spent some time working at University College, Cork and the Munster Technological University as a lecturer and researcher. She enjoys cycling and would like to see more people enabled to cycle as a mode of transport.
